On the 18th July, we moved to a new apartment in an area called Somerset. Somerset is in the heart of Singapore's Orchard Road district and is very centrally located. Our new apartment is a little bigger (1100 square feet) than our previous apartment and it has been great having more living space. Our apartment building has 11 floors and we are on the 6th floor in a corner unit. Our complex has good amenities - a lap pool, jacuzzi, gym and barbecue area, and all these are located on the 11th floor (roof) of the building. The nearest MRT train station is a 5 minute walk away and it is a 4 minute train ride to David's place of work.
We love our new apartment and neighbourhood, and we are so happy we made the move.
