Sally, Terence and company
During the last week of January, Sam had a group of relatives and friends visit. Sam's second cousins Sally and Terence, and their spouses Brandon and Nancy and all their kids made a five day stop-over in Singapore. They were on route back to Melbourne, Australia after attending a cousins' wedding in South Africa. Also here for a visit at the same time was Nancy's mom and sister Jane, and her husband Barry and their two kids (they are also ex-South Africans now living in Perth). Sam and Barry went to the same school in South Africa, so it was a nice reunion for her with cousins and friends. Unfortunately David was away on business in Bangkok, so he did not get the opportunity to meet them all. It was great for Sam to see them all again after many years.

Yolanda
One of Sam's closest friends Yolanda also came for a visit in January/early February. Yolanda lives in Hong Kong and came to Singapore on business. Fortunately she was able to take some time off from her busy schedule to spend with us and it was good to see her again.
